Experimentando con Arduino y Scilab: propagación de calor en una barra metálica

Abstract This article presents a low cost multipurpose device based in Arduino technology and Xcos-Scilab graphical environement, designed for heat propagation experiences. In addition to the pedagogical advantage of the implementation carried out by engineering degree students, the use of the equipment has enabled, through experimental results, the determination of the convection coefficient and the analysis, and adjustment, of the effect of the sensors used in the measurement.
