El sumak kawsay, el Yasuní y los pueblos en aislamiento ¿alternativa al desarrollo capitalista?

Abstract Capitalism requires inequity, violence, extractivism, destruction, and death. It is urgent to look for alternatives. One alternative to capitalism is sumak kawsay, which is a system of life based on indigenous peolples experiences and knowledge, and emancipatory knowledge of the West. In Yasuní, as a case study, we can observe the contradictions of the capitalist system and the potentialities of sumak kawsay experienced by people live in isolation.
