In this paper we address the comparison among grids from different altimetry-derived global gravity anomaly datasets with marine gravity anomalies from cruises in the Argentinian continental margin and adjacent oceanic areas in order to determine if there are significant differences among these data sources, particularly in areas near the coast where there are steep horizontal gravity gradients as over the continental slope, and to identify and delimit those areas.
