Child psychiatric hospitalizations in the Brazilian public health system: an exploratory study

Abstract Objective To describe the characteristics and rates of child psychiatric hospitalizations in the Brazilian public health system, as well as their variation according to the country’s macro-regions. Methods This was a descriptive study focusing on year 2017, having as main source the Brazilian Ministry of Health’s hospital information system.
