Cenostigma macrophyllum Tul. on the healing of skin wounds in rats with Diabetes mellitus

PURPOSE: To investigate the effect of Cenostigma macrophyllum Tul. in the tissue repair process of skin lesions in rats with induced Diabetes mellitus. METHODS: Sixty-three male Wistar rats were distributed into three groups: control (C), diabetic (D), and diabetic treated with an oil-in-water emulsion of the plant (DPL) subdivided according to time of observation (seven, 14, and 28 days).
