Cadaveric Temporal Bone Dissection: Is It Obsolete Today?

Introduction  Traditionally, surgical training in otology, is imparted by dissecting harvested human cadaveric temporal bones. However, maintenance of a cadaveric temporal bone laboratory is expensive and carries risk of exposure to infection.
