Association between MBL2 haplotypes and dengue severity in children from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

BACKGROUND Dengue is an arthropod-borne viral disease with a majority of asymptomatic individuals and clinical manifestations varying from mild fever to severe and potentially lethal forms.
