To locate and, if possibly, delimitate the presence of underground saline saturated horizons at Colonia Lloveras, 25 de Mayo department in San Juan province, Argentine Republic; a geoelectric research using the Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) method has been programmed and actually carried out. A first step consisted on the execution of 10 V.E.S. as evenly distributed as possible, as was permitted by topographical conditions in the area.
