Allele dosage of PVY resistance genes in potato clones using molecular markers

Abstract Potato virus Y (PVY) is considered one of the most important pathogens in potato crop. The objective of this study was to estimate the allele dosage of Ry genes and select clones with multiple copies of resistance alleles to be used as parents in potato breeding programs.
