Aging impairs osteoblast differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells grown on titanium by favoring adipogenesis

ABSTRACT Aging negatively affects bone/titanium implant interactions. Our hypothesis is that the unbalance between osteogenesis and adipogenesis induced by aging may be involved in this phenomenon.
