1. ESQUARAÍNAS CIS E TRANS SUBSTITUÍDAS: APLICAÇÃO EXPERIMENTAL DA TEORIA DE GRUPO EM ESPECTROSCOPIA VIBRACIONAL
This work shows a practical application of the group theory to a relatively simple molecular system, as well its impact in the results obtained through vibrational spectroscopic techniques. Squaraines substituted by dicyanemethylene groups have been extensively studied, and after minor approaches in the sense to facilitate the point group determination, they

2. UNRAVELING THE SOLVATOCHROMISM OF A TRIARYLMETHANE DYE BY RESONANCE RAMAN SPECTROSCOPY
The effect of the solvent on the electronic properties of the triarylmethane dye rosolic acid (RA) is investigated by means of UV-VIS and resonance Raman (RR) spectroscopies. The comparison of the solvatochromic behavior of both neutral and dianionic species of RA in acetonitrile, dimethylsulfoxide, and methanol illustrates the effect of polarity and hydroge

3. Orofacial functions and quality of life in children with unilateral cleft lip and palate
Abstract This study aimed to evaluate the orofacial functions and oral health-related quality of life (OHRQoL) of children with unilateral cleft lip and palate (UCLP). This case-control study included patients with UCLP matched by sex and age with controls (children without UCLP), resulting in the inclusion of a total of 108 eight- to ten-year-old children.

4. Comparison of maxillomandibular asymmetries in adult patients presenting different sagittal jaw relationships

5. From the colonialist to the “autobotanical” approach: the evolution of the subject-object relationship in ethnobotanical research
ABSTRACT This article explores the evolution of the subject-object relationship in ethnobotanical research. Discussion of the main tendencies of each time period revealed a great distance between subject and object during the beginning of ethnobotany, which decreased in subsequent phases, and only became absent in some contemporary works. Furthermore, paradi

6. Upper limb weight-bearing effect on the body alignment of individuals with cerebral palsy who have spastic hemiparesis: a randomized clinical trial

7. Body balance at static posturography in vestibular migraine

9. Gait variability and symmetry assessment with inertial sensors for quantitative discrimination of Trendelenburg sign in total hip arthroplasty patients: a pilot study based on convenience sampling
Abstract Introduction The aim of this pilot study based on convenience sampling was to analyze the feasibility to quantitatively discriminate Trendelenburg sign (TS), a characteristic drop in pelvic position during gait in hip disfunctions, in patients with total hip arthroplasty (THA), by assessing gait variability and symmetry using inertial sensors. Me

10. Postural Sway Parameters and Gait Symmetry in Preschool Children: Cross-sectional study
Abstract The most important function of posture is to ensure the maintenance of control during the start and the continuation of human movement, moreover, posture serves as a reference for the production of precise movements. The aim of this study was to relate the postural sway parameters and gait symmetry in preschool children. This study is a cross-section

11. Symmetry symptoms in obsessive-compulsive disorder: clinical and genetic correlates
Objective: In obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), symmetry-related symptoms may be important. Although clinical correlates of symmetry-related symptoms have been identified in OCD, few data exist on genetic associations. Animal studies indicate involvement of dopamine in symmetry-related behavior, suggesting this may be relevant to analogous symptoms in OC

12. Evaluation of the dental arch asymmetry in natural normal occlusion and Class II malocclusion individuals
OBJECTIVE: To verify the presence and degree of asymmetry of dental arches in Brazilian individuals with natural normal occlusion and Class II, Divisions 1 and 2 malocclusions. METHODS: The study evaluated the symmetry of the maxillary and mandibular dental arches of 180 pairs of dental casts, divided into: Group I = 60 pairs of natural normal occlusion indi
