1. On simple Shamsuddin derivations in two variables
Abstract We study the subgroup of k-automorphisms of k [ x , y ] which commute with a simple derivation d of k [ x , y ]. We prove, for instance, that this subgroup is trivial when d is a shamsuddin simple derivation. in the general case of simple derivations, we obtain properties for the elements of this subgroup.

2. Serial structures in protuguese of Brazil / Estruturas serializadas no português do Brasil: a gramaticalização de vir e virar e sua identificação como verbo serial
In the present work, I analyze the functional behavior of the verbs to come (VIR) and to turn (VIRAR), in the contemporary Brazilian Portuguese, from their performance in simple structures to the formation of complex structures. This dissertation is developed under the paradigm of the linguistic functionalism and it is based on data from spoken language, the

4. Heat transfer in channels with solid and porous baffles.
This work focuses on the study of flow and heat transfer in a parallel plate channel with solid and porous baffles, in both laminar and turbulent regimes by using numerical simulations. The main concern is to validate results by using a unique set of equations (for porous, solid and clear domain) for channels with solid baffles, after that change solid to po

5. Turbulent impinging jet into a porous bed.
This work focuses on the study of impinging jets actuating in both the presence and absence of a porous bed, in both laminar and turbulent regimes by using numerical simulations. Porous medium was treated as rigid, homogeneous and isotropic. The macroscopic transport equations are written for an elementary representative volume yielding a set of equation val

6. Topological mechanisms involved in the formation of clathrin-coated vesicles.
By examining the basic characteristics of clathrin lattices, we discover that simple topological rules impose strict constraints on clathrin lattice transformations. These constraints require that internal bond rearrangements take place in conjunction with the addition or removal of pairs of clathrin triskelions within the interior of existing clathrin latti
