28. Objective criterion for evaluation of the quality decoration in ceramic floor tile production prior to the sintering process
Abstract In the ceramic tile decoration process, the set of variables that can cause hue variation is quite wide and independent of the methodology used in the production. The understanding of the effects of these variables over the final expected result is of great importance to the producers, especially if it could be done before the ceramic tile’s sinte

29. Pulp canal obliteration after traumatic injuries in permanent teeth – scientific fact or fiction?
Abstract: Pulp canal obliteration (PCO) is a frequent finding associated with pulpal revascularization after luxation injuries of young permanent teeth. The underlying mechanisms of PCO are still unclear, and no experimental scientific evidence is available, except the results of a single histopathological study. The lack of sound knowledge concerning this p

30. Kant and the “Mystery Hidden” in the Critique of Pure Reason: A Methodological Approach to the A-Deduction Argument*
ABSTRACT At the core of Kant’s theoretical philosophy lies the deduction of the categories: his effort to secure the distinctiveness of sensibility and understanding and to provide a necessary relation between the domains of these faculties. The argument for this claim is presented in two different versions - i.e., the A and B editions of the Critique of p

31. On the performance of three indices of agreement: an easy-to-use r-code for calculating the Willmott indices
ABSTRACT A key step for any modeling study is to compare model-produced estimates with observed/reliable data. The original index of agreement (also known as original Willmott index) has been widely used to measure how well model-produced estimates simulate observed data. However, in its original version such index may lead the user to erroneously select a p

32. ESTÉTICAS COTIDIANAS ESCOLARES: DESDE LO QUE SE VE HACIA CÓMO SE SIENTE LA ESCUELA
ABSTRACT: This paper proposes the educational relevance of everyday school aesthetics. Firstly, through two visual examples, the notion of school aesthetic matrix is introduced as a criterion that organizes the sensibility of school environments. Second, based on visual studies, the visual culture of schools is discussed by means of three images that portray

33. Synthesis and in vitro Antiproliferative Activity of Flavone and 6-Hydroxyflavone Oxime Ethers Derivatives
Herein we report the synthesis of a series of O-alkyl oximes of flavone and 6-hydroxyflavone using a simple experimental protocol under solvent free conditions with yields up to 87%. Cytotoxicity of all compounds was evaluated against MDA-MB-231, PC-3, A-549 and MRC-5 cells. IC50 values for two compounds were determined to be in the range 28.7-47.8 µM again

34. Obese with higher FNDC5/Irisin levels have a better metabolic profile, lower lipopolysaccharide levels and type 2 diabetes risk
ABSTRACT Objective: Thus, the aim of this study was to compare if higher or smaller fibronectin type 3 domain-containing protein 5 (FNDC5)/irisin levels are associated with inflammatory and metabolic markers, caloric/macronutrient intake, physical fitness and type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) risk in obese middle-aged men, and also to correlate all variables

35. Una poética del resentimiento: memoria y moral en la obra de Louise Bourgeois.
abstract The aim of this paper is to address resentment as an eminently modern way of sensibility to locate oneself in the world and to develop a personal project of subjectivation. I will use the work of Louise Bourgeois because her way of understanding the creative process is a paradigmatic example of how resentment becomes creative and gives rise to the m

36. High Order Cyclic Voltammograms During Electrooxidation of Ethanol Catalyzed by Gold
Under fixed limits, potential sweeps in some electrochemical systems depict current profile whose shape repeats in every n cycle (with n > 1), receiving the name of high order voltammograms (HOV). HOV have been observed during electrooxidation of organic molecules catalyzed mainly by Pt. The present study shows HOV behavior during ethanol electrooxidation re
