1. Topics of numbers theory and primality test / Topicos de teoria dos numeros e teste de primalidade
In this work were discussed topics of the theory of numbers and some primality tests. We show properties of whole numbers, and some criteria for divisibility. We also present, beyond the properties of the Common Dividing Maximum and Minimum Common Multiple, geometric interpretations of the same ones. They had been study topics of theory of congruences and fi

2. Re-significando a disciplina teoria dos números na formação do professor de matemática na licenciatura
This study is part of the issue that questions which algebra should be taught in the different levels of schooling, especially in the development of mathematics teachers for basic education. In this context, this study was guided by the question: Which Number Theory is or should be understood as a piece of knowledge to be taught in mathematics teacher develo

3. DHA :um esquema de acordo de chaves baseado em matrizes para o protocolo Diffie-Hellman
In this work is proposed an annonimous cryptographic key agreement protocol by secure way based on Diffe-Hellman protocol. Actually key agreement protocols like Diffe-Hellman, ElGamal and other work with modular exponentiation operations and the complexity of such protocols are based on apparent diffcult to deal DLP (Discrete Logarithm Problems). The propose

4. EMOTIONS, EXPRESSIONS, ARTS AND ONTOLOGY(IES) IN AN INDISCIPLINED WEB: INTERTEXTUALITIES AND HYPERMEDIACIES ON THE CORPOREALITY, A FILM, A BOOK AND A PAINTING CALLED GIRL WITH A PEARL EARRING / EMOÇÕES, EXPRESSÕES, ARTES E ONTOLOGIA(S) NUMA REDE INDISCIPLINADA: INTERTEXTUALIDADES E HIPERMEDIAÇÕES DA CORPOREIDADE, DE UM FILME, UM LIVRO, UM QUADRO CHAMADOS MOÇA COM BRINCO DE PÉROLA
How does an observer from convergence media age may examine old media objects (painting, book, movie) and the primary media (body)? This thesis argues that a contemporary researcher´s interest on knowledge about the elements evolved in the body´s emotional expression, it´s apprehension by partners and it´s figures in analogical visual arts and literature

5. The restricted simple Lie algebras are of classical or Cartan type
The classification of the finite-dimensional restricted simple Lie algebras over an algebraically closed field F of prime characteristic p > 7 is announced. Such an algebra is either of classical type (an analogue over F of a finite-dimensional simple Lie algebra over the complex numbers) or of Cartan type (an analogue over F of one of the infinite Lie algeb

6. Random matrices and quantum chaos
The theory of random matrices has far-reaching applications in many different areas of mathematics and physics. In this note, we briefly describe the state of the theory and two of the perhaps most surprising appearances of random matrices, namely in the theory of quantum chaos and in the theory of prime numbers.

7. A DNA Prime-Mycobacterium bovis BCG Boost Vaccination Strategy for Cattle Induces Protection against Bovine Tuberculosis†
The variable efficacy of bacillus Calmette-Guérin (Mycobacterium bovis BCG) in protecting humans and cattle against tuberculosis has prompted a search for a more effective vaccination regimen. A prime-boost strategy was investigated in cattle naturally sensitized to environmental mycobacteria by using a combination of three DNA vaccines coding for Hsp 65, H

8. Adjuvant Activities of Novel Cytokines, Interleukin-23 (IL-23) and IL-27, for Induction of Hepatitis C Virus-Specific Cytotoxic T Lymphocytes in HLA-A*0201 Transgenic Mice
Searching the sequence databases has revealed two novel cytokines: interleukin-23 (IL-23) and IL-27. These cytokines are quite similar to, but clearly distinct from IL-12 in their structures and T-cell stimulatory fashions. In contrast to IL-12, however, little is known about the roles of IL-23 and IL-27 in the immune regulation. Previously, we evaluated the

9. Cytotoxic T-lymphocyte antigen 4 blockade augments the T-cell response primed by attenuated Listeria monocytogenes resulting in more rapid clearance of virulent bacterial challenge
Cytotoxic T-lymphocyte antigen 4 (CTLA-4) uniformly suppresses antigen-specific T cells during chronic infection with bacterial, parasitic or viral pathogens. However, the importance of CTLA-4 in controlling the T-cell response during acute infection or after priming with live attenuated vaccine vectors has not been well characterized. Since strategies aimed

10. Codelivery of CCR7 Ligands as Molecular Adjuvants Enhances the Protective Immune Response against Herpes Simplex Virus Type 1
Humoral and cellular immunity, associated with long-term protective immunological memory, defines the efficacy of a given vaccine formulation. However, few vaccines achieve this target without the aid of a suitable adjuvant. Molecular adjuvants in vaccination against infectious agents offer a noninvasive means of enhancing the immune response against target

11. Effect of selenium deficiency on cuticle integrity in the Cladocera (Crustacea).
Daphnia pulex de Geer and Daphnia magna Straus populations cannot be maintained in defined (sensu stricto) media containing less than 0.1 part per billion (ppb) of selenium. A concentration of 1 ppb is sufficient to satisfy minimal needs in otherwise sufficient media. In the first generation with no selenium added to the medium or detected in it, media defic

12. Polyinosinic acid as a carrier in the microscale purification of total RNA.
Three different RNA carriers were compared for use in microscale RNA isolation and subsequent cDNA synthesis and amplification via the polymerase chain reaction. E.coli rRNA alone gave considerable cDNA synthesis which under standard carrier conditions overwhelmed cDNA synthesis from lymphocyte mRNA. Yeast tRNA caused inhibition of mRNA primed cDNA synthesis
