1. Determinação de Sn(II) por polarografia: aplicação no controle de qualidade de reagentes liofilizados para radiodiagnóstico / Polarographic determination of Sn(II): application in the quality control of radiopharmaceutical reagents
Stannous chloride (SnCl2.2H2O) is the major compound used for reduction of generator-derived 99mTc-pertechnetate in cold kits for on site preparation of 99mTc-radiopharmaceuticals. These cold kits usually contain a ligand, stannous chloride, and different additives. Various techniques were described for tin determination, but they cannot distinguish between

2. Aplicações de técnicas espectroscópicas e polarográficas para caracterização e avaliação da reatividade do húmus com o herbicida atrazina. / Application of spectroscopic and polarographic methods to characterize and evaluate the reactivity between humus and atrazine.
One alternative to disposal of urban residues is recycling through composts and earthworm composts (humus production). The absence of a quality standard of these materials however brings limitations to commercial development with damage to producers and consumers. In this work was proposed a strategic parameter to be used as standard. From Electron Paramagne

3. Study of reduction of cobalt(II) in sodium azide aqueous medium by pulse polarography / Estudo da redução do cobalto(II) em meio aquoso de azoteto de sódio por polarografia de pulso
The electroreduction of Co(ll) in perchloric media gives origin to a polarographic wave about -1.4 V VS. SCE at 25°C. With the addition of the azide ligand, N3-, that wave shifts towards more positive potentials. The higher value of the potential shift, 320 mV, is recorded for the concentration 0,600 M of ligand. The shift can be explained by the adsorption

4. Structural transitions of polyadenylic acid due to protonation: the influence of the length of single strands on the polarographic behaviour of the double-helical form
Transition of single-stranded poly(A) into its double-helical protonated form was followed by means of derivative pulse polarography, spectrophotometry, and other methods. It was found that properties of protonated poly(A) depended on the length of single strands from which the protonated double helix was formed. In contrary to longer poly(A) transition of s
