13. Influência de um programa de atividade física sobre o torque muscular, o equilíbrio, a velocidade da marcha e a qualidade de vida de mulheres portadoras de osteoporose. / Physical exercise program influences on muscle torque, balance, gait velocity and quality of life to women suffering from osteoporosis.
Osteoporosis is a metabolic bone disorder characterized by low bone mass and microarchitectural deterioration leading to skeletal fragility and increasing of fracture risk. Due to the lack of well defined protocols on the intensity and frequency of physical exercises to reduce multiple risk factors in falls, the purpose of this study was to propose, to apply

14. Replay : anÃlise e depuraÃÃo de sistemas multiagente baseado em conhecimento lÃgico orientado a objetos, com aplicaÃÃo a Robocup
In recent years, many different methodologies and tools for Agent-Oriented Software Engineering have been proposed. Yet, almost all of them deal only with a restricted sub-class of Multi-Agent Systems (MAS): those composed of agents whose sensors and effectors are limited to the exchange of messages with other agents, and those whose reasoning is purely reac

18. Optical images of visible and invisible percepts in the primary visual cortex of primates
We optically imaged a visual masking illusion in primary visual cortex (area V-1) of rhesus monkeys to ask whether activity in the early visual system more closely reflects the physical stimulus or the generated percept. Visual illusions can be a powerful way to address this question because they have the benefit of dissociating the stimulus from perception.

20. Genetic Fine Structure of the BRONZE Locus in Maize
The bronze (bz) locus in maize, located in the short arm of chromosome 9 (9S), is the structural gene for the anthocyanin biosynthetic enzyme UFGT. The gene has been cloned and its physical map has been oriented relative to the centromere of 9S. We report here the genetic fine structure mapping of several biochemically characterized EMS-induced bz-E mutation
