1. Metabolomic and Histological Response of Passiflora cincinnata Infected with Cowpea aphid-borne mosaic virus (CABMV) Reveals Changes in Asymptomatic and Symptomatic Phases
Passion fruit woodiness disease, caused by the Cowpea aphid-borne mosaic virus (CABMV), is one of the leading phytosanitary challenges of passion fruit production. Passiflora cincinnata has been recognized for its potential in genetic improvement due to its highest resistance to CABMV and other phytopathogens. Metabolomic and histological alterations of P. c

2. Biomechanical and biochemical investigation of erythrocytes in late stage human leptospirosis
Leptospirosis is a zoonotic disease caused by bacteria of the genus Leptospira, which can cause lipid changes in the erythrocyte membrane. Optical tweezers were used to characterize rheological changes in erythrocytes from patients with leptospirosis in the late stage. Biochemical methods were also used for quantification of plasma lipid, erythrocyte membran

3. Concentration of soybean lecithin affects short-term storage success of goat semen related with seminal plasma removal
Abstract The objective of this study was to investigate the need of seminal plasma removal for short-term cooling of buck semen in soybean lecithin (SL) based extender. Each pool was divided equally, and one half was subjected to centrifugation to remove seminal plasma (SP-), while the other half remained with seminal plasma (SP+). Then, both SP+ and SP- sam

4. SPRAY RETENTION ON COFFEE LEAVES ASSOCIATED WITH TYPE AND CONCENTRATION OF ADJUVANTS
ABSTRACT Agricultural spray adjuvants (ASA) are widely used in pesticide applications to enhance the performance of pesticides. The aim of this research was to investigate the effects of ASA on static surface tension (SST) and foliar spray retention on coffee leaves. The SST of ASA at different concentrations was determined by the drop weight method. Spray r

5. Differential Molecular Signature of Human Saliva Using ATR-FTIR Spectroscopy for Chronic Kidney Disease Diagnosis

6. Mating with seminal vesicle-excised male can affect the uterus phospholipid fatty-acids composition during implantation in an experimental mouse model
ABSTRACT Purpose No comprehensive information is available about uterus fatty acid (FA) change during implantation period and possible effects of the seminal vesicle secretion on it. Materials and Methods In this study, we evaluated FA composition of uterus phospholipids during the implantation period in intact and seminal vesicle-excised (SVX) mated fem

8. Phospholipid composition and resistance to vitrification of in vivo blastocyst of a Brazilian naturalized porcine breed

9. Cooking ways on composition of intramuscular phospholipid fatty acids of inra rabbit

10. Fractionation of Apis mellifera venom by means of ultrafiltration: removal of phospholipase A 2
Abstract The fractionation of apitoxin (bee venom) by means of a commercial 10 kDa ultrafiltration membrane was investigated aiming at the removal of phospholipase A2, the main allergenic substance. The feed content was varied from 1 to 50 g apitoxin/L, in deionized water, and caused changes in membrane flux and rejection, due to concentration polarization.

11. Heating effects on physicochemical characteristics and antioxidant activity of flaxseed hull oil (Linum usitatissimum L)
The aim of this study was to analyze the effects of heating on some quality characteristics and antioxidant activity of flaxseed hull oil. Polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) and Cox value decreased during heating. Heating process led to considerable increase in saponification value (SV), peroxide value (PV), p-anisidine value (p-AnV), oxidative value (OV) an
