1. Synthesis and in vitro Antiproliferative Activity of Flavone and 6-Hydroxyflavone Oxime Ethers Derivatives
Herein we report the synthesis of a series of O-alkyl oximes of flavone and 6-hydroxyflavone using a simple experimental protocol under solvent free conditions with yields up to 87%. Cytotoxicity of all compounds was evaluated against MDA-MB-231, PC-3, A-549 and MRC-5 cells. IC50 values for two compounds were determined to be in the range 28.7-47.8 µM again

2. The effect of neutral oximes on the reactivation of human acetylcholinesterase inhibited with paraoxon

3. Isoxazolinas: uma classe de materiais avançados revisitada
The synthesis and characterization of novel series of liquid crystalline materials containing N-heterocyclic isoxazoline are described. These molecules were obtained from the reaction of 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of nitrile oxides to different compounds containing double bonds. Thermal properties were analyzed by MOLP, DSC and TGA, and optical properties by

4. OXIMES AS INHIBITORS OF LOW DENSITY LIPOPROTEIN OXIDATION / OXIMAS COMO INIBIDORES DA OXIDAÇÃO DE LIPOPROTEÍNAS DE BAIXA DENSIDADE
The oxidation of low density lipoprotein is now an established hypothesis of atherogenesis and suggests that accumulation of oxidized low density lipoprotein (oxLDL) in the vessel wall is an early event in disease progression. OxLDL represents a variety of modification of both lipid and apolipoprotein B (apoB) components by peroxidation. This promotes athero

5. SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF OXIMES LIGANDS AND THIOSEMICARBAZONES AND THEIR COMPLEXES / SÍNTESE E CARACTERIZAÇÃO DE LIGANTES OXIMAS E TIOSSEMICARBAZONAS E SEUS COMPLEXOS
This research shows the synthesis and characterization of five ligands and four complexes derived from oximes and thiosemicarbazones. It analyses the crystalline/molecular structures determined by X-ray difraction in monocrystals: the ligand 4- phenylthiosemicarbazone-isatin (Ligand 5), the complexes pyridine-salicylaldehyde-4- phenylthiosemicarbazone of Ni(

7. ANALYSIS OF THE ANTIOXIDANT PROPERTIES OF THE 3-(PHENYL HYDRAZONE) BUTANE-2-ONE AND BUTANE-2,3- DIONETHIOSEMICARBAZONE OXIMES / ANÁLISE DAS PROPRIEDADES ANTIOXIDANTES DAS OXIMAS 3-(FENIL HIDRAZONA) BUTANO-2-ONA E BUTANO-2,3-DIONATIOSEMICARBAZONA

8. Facile regeneration of carbonyl compounds from oximes under microwave irradiations using N-bromophthalimide
Um método novo e seletivo para clivagem de oximas envolve a reação das oximas derivadas de aldeídos e cetonas com N-bromoftalimida (NBPI) em acetona sob irradiação de microondas.

9. Nitrite Formation from Hydroxylamine and Oximes by Pseudomonas aeruginosa
Nitrite was formed from hydroxylamine and several oximes by intact cells and extracts of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The activity was induced by the presence of oximes in the culture medium. Nitroalkanes were not intermediates in the conversion of acetaldoxime, acetone oxime, or butanone oxime to nitrite, since nitromethane inhibited the formation of nitrite fro

10. The Chemotherapy of Poisoning by Organophosphate Anticholinesterases
Oximes (with or without atropine as an adjunct) have recently been used successfully in the treatment of humans poisoned by organophosphate anticholinesterases. The discovery of the nature of the biochemical lesion in organophosphate poisoning has permitted the design of drugs to repair specifically this particular lesion. This paper reviews historically the

12. CYP83A1 and CYP83B1, Two Nonredundant Cytochrome P450 Enzymes Metabolizing Oximes in the Biosynthesis of Glucosinolates in Arabidopsis1
In the glucosinolate pathway, the postoxime enzymes have been proposed to have low specificity for the side chain and high specificity for the functional group. Here, we provide biochemical evidence for the functional role of the two cytochromes P450, CYP83A1 and CYP83B1, from Arabidopsis in oxime metabolism in the biosynthesis of glucosinolates. In a detail
