1. Fluxes and chern morphisms of hyperbolic orbifolds
Methods of K-theory and spectral theory of Dirac operators are applied to describe the Chern isomorphisms and quantum fields on branes on hyperbolic manifolds.

2. THURSTON GEOMETRIES AND SEIFERT FIBER SPACES / GEOMETRIAS DE THURSTON E FIBRADOS DE SEIFERT
We begin by studying orbifolds, i.e., topological spaces locally homeomorphic to quotients of Rn by finite groups. Then we study Seifert fiber spaces of dimension three which are certain type of foliations by circles that can be seen as fiber bundles over orbifolds. This material is useful in the subsequent study of Thurston model geometries. A Thurston mode

3. Axial distances in discrete Möbius groups.
We describe here new lower bounds for the trace of the commutator of a discrete two-generator group of Möbius transformations. These results lead to sharp estimates for the distance between the axes of elliptics in a discrete group and hence to new bounds for the volume of hyperbolic manifolds and orbifolds that will be discussed elsewhere.

4. Algebraic orbifold conformal field theories
The unitary rational orbifold conformal field theories in the algebraic quantum field theory and subfactor theory framework are formulated. Under general conditions, it is shown that the orbifold of a given unitary rational conformal field theory generates a unitary modular category. Many new unitary modular categories are obtained. It is also shown tha

5. Algebraic K-theory of spaces stratified fibered over hyperbolic orbifolds
Among other results, we rationally calculate the algebraic K-theory of any discrete cocompact subgroup of a Lie group G, where G is either O(n, 1), U(n, 1), Sp(n, 1), or F4, in terms of the homology of the double coset space Γ\G/K, where K is a maximal cocompact subgroup of G. We obtain the formula Kn(ZΓ) [unk] [unk] ≅ [unk]i=0∞Hi(Γ\G/K; [unk]n-i), wh
