13. Image monitoring on the behavior study of three genetic groups of confined goats
The objective of this study was to analyze the behavior of three genetic groups of confined goats by image monitoring using nine unneutered goats of the Azul, Graúna and Moxotó genotypes. The experimental design was completely randomized, in a 3 × 3 factorial arrangement (genetic groups × periods - morning, afternoon and night), with three replications.

14. Symbiotic nitrogen-fixing bacterial populations trapped from soils under agroforestry systems in the Western Amazon
Cowpea (Vigna unguiculata) is an important grain-producing legume that can forego nitrogen fertilization by establishing an efficient symbiosis with nitrogen-fixing bacteria. Although inoculating strains have already been selected for this species, little is known about the genotypic and symbiotic diversity of native rhizobia. Recently, Bradyrhizobium has be

15. COMPOSTOS VOLÁTEIS E PARÂMETROS DE QUALIDADE DE DIFERENTES GENÓTIPOS DE FRUTOS DE BUTIA ODORATA. / VOLATILE COMPOUNDS AND QUALITY PARAMETERS FROM DIFFERENT GENOTYPES OF BUTIA ODORATA.

16. Forage yield and nitrogen nutrition dynamics of warm-season native forage genotypes under two shading levels and in full sunlight
The successful achievement of a highly productive understorey pasture in silvopastoral systems depends on the use of well-adapted forage genotypes, showing good agronomic performance and persistence under shading and grazing. In this study, the herbage dry matter yield (DMY) and nitrogen nutrition dynamics were determined in three native warm-season grasses

17. Phenotypic Diversity of Apple (Malus sp.) Germplasm in South Serbia
To determine the overall degree of polymorphism, detect similarities among the accessions and collect highly valued genotypes of native apples, 21 characters of 18 autochthonous apple cultivars were studied for three years. Particular individual accessions were selected from the south region of Serbia according to economically valuable characters and tested

18. Comunidade de fitonematoides e diversidade de longidorídeos em diferentes habitats no estado de Minas Gerais / Community of phytonematodes and diversity of longidorids in different habitats in Minas Gerais State
Biodiversity is one of the most valuable resources in the earth and in order to its maintenance and best use, there is a need of its profound knowledge on the basis of taxonomic and ecological works. The studies of the nematodes communities in soils under cultivation or native vegetation is becoming an area of growing interest in recent years. In relation to

19. Characteristics of carcass and non-carcass components in feedlot native goats in the Brazilian semiarid region
The objective of this study was to evaluate the characteristics of carcass and non-carcass components in Brazilian semi-arid native goats of different genotypes in feedlot system. It was used 30 non-castrated Azul, Graúna and Moxotó goats with average initial weight of 15.93 ± 2.4, distributed in a completely randomized design with 3 genotypes and 10 repl

20. Full-length genomic sequence of hepatitis B virus genotype C2 isolated from a native Brazilian patient
The hepatitis B virus (HBV) is among the leading causes of chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. In Brazil, genotype A is the most frequent, followed by genotypes D and F. Genotypes B and C are found in Brazil exclusively among Asian patients and their descendants. The aim of this study was to sequence the entire HBV genome of a Caucasia

22. Genetic variability for disease resistance in Brazilian upland rice native germplasm.
Thirty nine rice genotypes were evaluated under dryland field conditions for resistance to leaf and neck blast, brown spot, leaf scald, narrow brown leaf spot and grain discolaration in 13 test sites during a three-year period. these include 17 land races, six traditional cultivars, 11 improved breeding lines and three exotic cultivars. There was a great div

24. Pigeonpea selection and breeding.
Pigeonpea [Cajanus cajan (L.) Millsp] is believed to be native of Indian subcontinent where the greatest genetic variability of the species is found. Africa has also been considered by some authors as a possible center of its origin, since ample variability can be found there as well. Most likely, however, pigeonpea is originated from that subcontinent but i
