2. IN VITRO AND EX VITRO PROPAGATION OF LOURO-PARDO (Cordia trichotoma (Vell.) Arrabida ex Steudel) / PROPAGAÇÃO IN VITRO E EX VITRO DE LOURO-PARDO (Cordia trichotoma (Vell.) Arrabida ex Steudel)
Although the louro-pardo (Cordia trichotoma Vell.) is native forest specie with high timber potential, there are still scarce studies that approach the production of seedlings of this species by vegetative propagation. The objective of this work was to evaluate the vegetative propagation of the louro-pardo by the techniques of cuttings and micropropagation.

3. IN VITRO REGENERATION OF Parapiptadenia rigida (Bentham) Brenan / REGENERAÇÃO IN VITRO DE Parapiptadenia rigida (Bentham) Brenan
The Parapiptadenia rigida (Bentham) Brenan is a native forest specie that can be used in the restoration of gallery forests and degraded areas. This work has the objective to develop the regeneration in vitro of P. rigida using explants of aseptic seedlings. In experiment 1, seeds of P. rigida were disinfected in 0.0, 2.5 and 5.0% of sodium hypochlorite duri

4. Uso de habitat e padrão de atividade de médios e grandes mamíferos e nicho trófico de Lobo-Guará (Chrysocyon brachyurus), Onça-Parda (Puma concolor) e Jaguatirica (Leopardus pardalis) numa paisagem agroflorestal, no Est / Habitat use and activity patterns use of large and medium size mammals and niche overlap of Manned-wolf (Chrysocyon brachyurus), Mountain-lion (Puma concolor) and ocelot (Leopardus pardalis) in a agroforest landscape, in São Paulo State
The following study analyzed activity patterns and habitat use of large and medium size mammals as well as diet and trophic niche overlapping of feline and canid species in a fragmented area of the State of São Paulo. The landscape studied contains two fully protected conservation units with cerrado and semi-deciduous vegetation and also remnants of native

5. O uso do feijão guandu (cajanus cajan (L.) Millsp.) como catalisador da restauração ecológica
This study was conducted at the Pontal do Paranapanema Region, State of São Paulo. This region is well known for its landless conflicts and, at the same time, environmental degradation. The Pontal region harbors the last remnants of the Brazilian Atlantic Forest, including the 37.000 ha Morro do Diabo State Park and other surrounding forest fragments isolat

6. Distribuição do maracanã-verdadeiro Primolius maracana (psittacidae): preferência de hábitat e fatores que influenciam na manutenção de sua populações remanescentes. / Distribution of blue-winged macaw primolius maracanã: habitat preferences and factors affecting the persistence of its remaining populations.
The blue-winged macaw is a vulnerable psittacidae, which has been suffering a rapid reduction of its populations in different parts of its occurrence. Thus, it was carried a detailed revision on the, historical and current, distribution and estatus of the species through using literature and specimens in museums data. We gathered 176 records of blue-winged m

7. Growth periodicity and formation of wood of some tree species of semideciduous seasonal forest in the southeast region of the state of São Paulo. / Periodicidade do crescimento e formação da madeira de algumas espécies arbóreas de florestas estacionais semidecíduas da região sudeste do estado de São Paulo.
The dendrocronology and dendroclimatology studies are now being used in the tropical and subtropical Brazilian forest. These studies are important to correlate the growth rate of forest species with climatic conditions and phenological behaviour to determine the age of the trees. This way, this investigation had as main objectives: (i) study the cambial peri
