1. Optimal hydrated lime concentration in asphalt binder to improve photo degradation resistance
Abstract The effect of short-term oxidation, evaluated by using a Rolling Thin Film Oven Test, and the effect of weathering aging on the oxidation process of hydrated lime modified asphalts were studied. Hydrated lime (HL) has been known as an additive for asphalt mixtures and is now considered as a binder additive that increases asphalt mixture durability.

2. Efeito de fibras sintéticas nas propriedades de ligantes e concretos asfálticos
The asphalt cement plays a major role in hot mix asphalts (HMA) by bonding the mineral aggregates and conferring impermeability. Despite the relatively small percentage of asphalt cement in hot mixes, the mechanical properties of asphalt layers are highly dependent on the quality of the binder. The physical and rheological properties of asphalt binders can b

3. Evaluation of asphalt mixtures produced with conventional peruvian asphalt binder PEN 60/70 and SBS polymer-modified type I 60/60 and PG 76-22 / Avaliação de misturas produzidas com ligantes asfálticos peruanos convencional PEN 60/70 e modificados por polímero SBS tipo I 60/60 e PG 76-22
The main goal of this work is the evaluation of the behavior of conventional peruvian asphalt binder AC PEN 60/70 and SBS polymer-modified asphalts I 60/60 and PG 76-22, when used in hot-mix asphalt (HMA), under both conditions with and without short-term aging. It aims also to establish the asphalt binder performance grade (PG), which is based on the weathe
