1. Spatial Diversity Effect on the Experimental Gain of Capacity of the Outdoor Mobile Radio Channel in the 700 MHz Band
Abstract From measurements performed in the 700 MHz band, this paper analyzes the effect of spatial diversity on the channel capacity through the propagation of an OFDM mobile radio signal and compares with the results of a single branch providing what improvement of the capacity is attained with the SIMO system.

2. Influence of Vegetation on the Outdoor-to-Indoor Mobile Radio Propagation in 700 MHz Band
Abstract Starting from outdoor transmission, crossing vegetation, the wideband and narrowband characterization of the indoor mobile radio channel in the 700 MHz band is obtained from experiments carried out in the indoor environment of the Engineering building at Fluminense Federal University, and from the processed data, respectively, the power-delay profil

3. Experimental Evaluation of the Mobile Radio Channel Capacity in the 2.48 GHz Band
Abstract This paper deals with the effect of the Single-Input Multiple-Output spatial diversity on the OFDM mobile radio signal propagating in an urban channel. From measurements performed in Rio de Janeiro city, Brazil, by using two receiving antennas at diversity, the calculated capacity presented an improvement when compared to the individual one.

4. Phase Noise Effects on Wideband Mobile Radio Channel Sounding
Abstract In this work three wideband mobile radio channel sounding methods are simulated and compared using computational tools. The considered sounders include the traditional STDCC and two other proposed sounding methods that are based on OFDM digital transmission and detection procedures and on matched filtering. The impact of the phase noise introduced b

5. Simulador para avaliação da eficiência espectral média de redes celulares na presença de interferência de co-canal / Simulator for the evaluation of the mean spectral efficiency of cellular networks in the presence of co-channel interference

6. Avaliação da eficiência espectral média do enlace reverso de redes celulares na presença de interferência de co-canal / Evaluation of the mean spectral efficiency for the uplink of cellular networks in the presence of co-channel interference

7. SIGNAL VARIABILITY, COHERENCE BANDWIDTH AND DELAY SPREAD ON MOBILE RADIO PROPAGATION ENVIRONMENT AT 3.5GHZ / VARIABILIDADE DO SINAL, BANDA DE COERÊNCIA E ESPALHAMENTO TEMPORAL EM AMBIENTE DE RÁDIO PROPAGAÇÃO MÓVEL EM 3,5GHZ
This work presents a study of signal variability, coherence bandwidth and delay spread of a WiMAX signal transmitted through a mobile radio propagation environment. The statistical analysis of the received signal is compared with theoretical distributions. The transmitted WiMAX signal has its physical layer based on OFDM-256 and 3.4 GHz as central frequency.

9. Application of artificial intelligence techniques for dynamic channel allocation on wireless networks.
In the last years, mobile networks became more important for communication systems infrastructure. One area of great growth is mobile computation, which is performed through radio signals. The amount of available channels rarely is enough to attend the increasing demand. This work presents a solution for the channel allocation topic, a challenging topic in

A 2.5D ray-tracing propagation model is proposed to predict radio loss in indoor environment. Specifically, we opted for the Shooting and Bouncing Rays (SBR) method, together with the Geometrieal Theory of Diffrartion (GTD). Besides the line-of-sight propagation (LOS), we consider that the radio waves may experience reflection, refraction, and diffraction (N

A ray tracing model based on the method of images has been applied to study the propagation of radio waves in the regions of Copacabana and Ipanema in Rio de Janeiro. In such highly urbanized environments, it can be realistically assumed that propagation is restricted to a horizontal section of the street canyons characterized by the blocks of buildings. Sev
