25. IMPACT OF TEMPERATURE ON THE STABILITY OF SILKWORM COCOON FIBERS
In this study raw and processed silkworm (Bombyx mori) cocoons were investigated using confocal Raman spectroscopy in conjunction with differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) in order to examine the effect of temperature on the molecular conformation of silk fiber structures. Using DSC, a broad endothermic curve was observed at moderate temperatures, sheddin

26. Inflammation: friend or foe of bovine reproduction?
Abstract Inflammation is not only the first line of defense of the organism but is also required in many reproductive processes such as ovulation, corpus luteum development, luteolysis, uterine clearance after insemination and post partum. Nevertheless, if excessive or persistent, inflammation can switch from a positive mechanism to a deleterious process, im

27. Acute effect of passive cycloergometry on the cardiovascular system and respiratory mechanics of critically ill patients: a randomized controlled trial

28. Effect of laser treatment on postural control parameters in patients with chronic nonspecific low back pain: a randomized placebo-controlled trial
The management of nonspecific lumbar pain (NSLP) using laser irradiation remains controversial. A systematic review of recently published studies indicates that the effects of laser therapy are commonly assessed using only imperfect methods in terms of measurement error. The main objective of this study was to assess static postural stability using an object

29. Ground motions for FEMA P-695 application in subduction zones
Abstract The FEMA P-695 report presents a methodology for the rational quantification of seismic performance factors for use in seismic design. Despite the fact that the methodology is comprehensive and covers a wide range of possible applications, it only provides ground motion sets recorded from shallow crustal earthquakes. Therefore, this paper presents a

30. Influence of high-frequency microwave radiation on montmorillonite structure parameters

31. EFFECTS OF TRAINING LOAD CHANGES ON PHYSICAL PERFORMANCE AND EXERCISE-INDUCED MUSCLE DAMAGE

32. EFFECT OF THE AEROBIC COMPONENT OF COMBINED TRAINING ON THE BLOOD PRESSURE OF HYPERTENSIVE ELDERLY WOMEN
Porém, persistem dúvidas quanto à ordem do treiname

33. TRANSCRANIAL DIRECT-CURRENT STIMULATION IN COMBINATION WITH EXERCISE: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW

34. Self-reported disability in women with fibromyalgia from a tertiary care center
Abstract Background: The World Health Organization Disability Assessment Schedule (WHODAS) 2.0 is a generic instrument to assess disability. Pain and psychological factors seem to play a pronounced disabling role in fibromyalgia (FM). There are few studies that investigate the factors associated with disability in patients with fibromyalgia from the patient

36. Effects of Heat Treatment and Yb 3+ Concentration on the Downconversion Emission of Er 3+ /Yb 3+ Co-Doped Transparent Silicate Glass-Ceramics
The SiO2-Al2O3-BaF2-TiO2-CaF2 transparent silicate glass-ceramics containing BaF2 nanocrystals were successfully prepared by heat treatment process through conventional melting method. Effects of heat treatment processes and Yb3+ concentration on the downconversion (DC) emission of the co-doped Er3+/Yb3+ transparent silicate glass-ceramics were investigated.
