1. Use of urease inhibitors to reduce ammonia volatilization in Amazonian soils
Cad

2. TIME TRENDS OF HELICOBACTER PYLORI PREVALENCE IN ITAJAÍ - SC: A RETROSPECTIVE STUDY OF 25 YEARS BASED ON ENDOSCOPIC DATABASE

3. Urease activity according to the different inhibitors
Abstract The objective of this study was to evaluate NBPT, zeolite and humic acid in different concentrations as inhibitors of the activity of the enzyme urease. The activity of the urease enzyme was quantified by the methods proposed by May and Douglas (1976) and Witte and Medina-Escobar (2001). For this reason, two experiments were conducted in a completel

4. Urease Inhibitor and Irrigation Management to Mitigate Ammonia Volatilization from Urea in No-Till Corn
ABSTRACT High nitrogen (N) losses by ammonia (NH3) volatilization from urea can compromise nitrogen fertilization efficiency and corn yield. The purpose of this study was to assess the effects of irrigation management and the addition of the urease inhibitor N-(n-butyl)thiophosphoric triamide (NBPT) on NH3-N losses from urea and on corn yield. To this end, t

5. Addition of Urease Inhibitor Has No Effect on Ammonia Volatilization Following Soil Application of Poultry Litter or Organomineral Fertilizer, Unlike Urea
ABSTRACT Quantification of ammonia volatilization after addition of animal residues and nitrogen (N) mineral fertilizers to the soil is important for N management in fertilization programs. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of adding a urease inhibitor to N fertilizers to minimize ammonia losses following soil application. The experiment

6. Urease Inhibitors of Agricultural Interest Inspired by Structures of Plant Phenolic Aldehydes
The plant phenolic natural products (PNPs) protocatechuic aldehyde, syringaldehyde and vanillin were used as platforms for obtaining four urease inhibitors. Urea (urease substrate) or thiourea (urease inhibitor) core was added to the structure of newly synthesized compounds to provide inhibitors up to 230-fold more active than the PNPs they originated from.

7. Corn Yield and Foliar Diagnosis Affected by Nitrogen Fertilization and Inoculation with Azospirillum brasilense
ABSTRACT The biological nitrogen fixation (BNF) process in grasses is caused by diazotrophic bacteria, particularly Azospirillum brasilense. However, studies are lacking on BNF efficiency to define how much mineral nitrogen (N) can be applied to achieve more sustainable high yields. Furthermore, there should be an analysis of whether urea with the urease enz

8. Heat-treatment reduces anti-nutritional phytochemicals and maintains protein quality in genetically improved hulled soybean flour
The soybean is a protein source of high biological value. However, the presence of anti-nutritional factors affects its protein quality and limits the bioavailability of other nutrients. The effect of heat-treatment, 150 ºC for 30 minutes, on hulled and hull-less soybean flour from the cultivar UFVTN 105AP on urease, trypsin inhibitor activity, protein solu

9. Atividade de ureases em solos e avaliação de potenciais inibidores / Ureases activity in soil and potencial inhibitors evaluation
The urease is an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of urea to carbon dioxide and ammonia. The inhibitors are used to minimize the volatilization of NH3 from hydrolysis of urea. The present study proposes to evaluate the activity of urease in crop, tillage and conventional system from pasture and eucalyptus and evaluate the compounds potential of imine and

10. Timing of nitrogen fertilizer application in no-tillage cotton in Brazil.
This study aimed at evaluating the agronomic efficiency of nitrogen (N) fertilizers blended with urease inhibitor, nitrification inhibitor, and a slow-release polymer applied at different times in a no-till cotton crop as well as the possibility of reducing the number of broadcast applications using conventional and alternative N sources. The experiment was

12. Inibidor de urease (NBPT) e a eficiência da uréia na fertilização do trigo irrigado / Urease inhibitor (NBPT) and urea efficiency in the fertilization of irrigated wheat
