13. Diagramas de influência e teoria estatística / Influence Diagrams and Statistical Theory
The main objective of this work is to analyze the controversial concept of information in Statistics. To do so, firstly the concept of information according to Basu is presented. Next, the analysis is divided in three parts: information in a data set, information in an experiment and influence diagrams. In the first two parts, we always tried to define prope

14. Desenvolvimento de sistemas líquido-cristalinos empregando silicone fluido de co-polímero glicol e poliéter funcional siloxano
For the construction of the phase diagrams, the method of the aqueous titration was used. There were prepared 5 ternary diagrams, varying the surfactant and the oil phase. The liquid-crystalline phases were identified by polarized light microscopy. The formulations prepared with silicon glycol copolymer, polyether functional siloxane (PFS) and water (S1) and

15. Measures of the interannual marine variability on southeast Brazilian bight and its relationship to the spawning areas of Brazilian sardine (Sardinella braziliensis) / Medidas da variabilidade interanual marinha sobre a plataforma continental sudeste do Brasil e sua relação com áreas de desova da sardinha-verdadeira (sardinella brasiliensis)
This work aims to investigate the relation of marine interannual variability in a region located in southern coast of Brazil, also known as the Southeast Brazilian Bight (SBB) and the spawning areas of the Brazilian sardine (Sardinella braziliensis) in SBB. SBB marine ecosystems are related to a strong influence of a coastal upwelling system. Variables used

16. Simulação do processo de desasfaltação de petroleo pesado para obtenção de asfaltenos e oleo lubrificante / Simulation of a heavy oil deasphalting process to obtain asphaltenes and lube oil
Petroleum deasphalting is one of the major primary processes in crude oil refining. The study of deasphalting has gained considerable attention in the last few decades due to the increase in heavy crude oil reserves. In Brazil, the majority of the explored reserves produce heavy oils. The increasing reduction in the processing of light oils, added to the inc

17. Vegetation and soil gradient in the restinga forest in Espirito Santo, Brazil / Gradiente vegetacional e pedológico em floresta de restinga no Espírito Santo, Brasil
The Restingas are ecosystems that occur in sandy soils deposited during the Quaternary. These are known to have a high diversity of vegetation, but few studies provide information on abiotic factors determining this diversity. This study aimed to: (i) assess the influence of the chemical aspects, physical soil and flooding in phytophysionomic determination,

19. MODELOS DE DIMENSÃO REDUZIDA PARA ANÁLISE DAS OSCILAÇÕES NÃO-LINEARES E ESTABILIDADE DE CASCAS CILÍNDRICAS / LOW DIMENSIONAL MODELS FOR NONLINEAR VIBRATION ANALYSIS AND STABILITY OF CYLINDRICAL SHELLS.
The nonlinear vibrations and stability of a fluid-filled cylindrical shell is investigated using reduced order models. First, the nonlinear equations of motion of the cylindrical shell are deduced based on the expressions for the potential and kinetic energy, which are obtained using Donnell shallow shell theory. The internal fluid is considered to be irrota

20. Desenvolvimento, caracterizaÃÃo e estudo de permeaÃÃo cutÃnea de diclofenaco de dietilamÃnio em sistemas tÃpicos nanoemulsionados
The nanoemulsions (NE) are transparent, isotropic and thermodynamically stable systems, formed spontaneously under a specific set of experimental conditions from mixtures of water and oil phases stabilized by a surfactant or a mixture of surfactant and cosufactant. Because of their properties, especially the ability to carry lipophilic and hydrophilic drugs

21. Aqui estou, aqui faço o meu lugar: um estudo sobre percepções e manejo do ambiente entre camponeses, na comunidade de Barra do Pacuí, município de Ibiá MG
The present research was developed in São Francisco middle region, in the city of Ibiaí, north of Minas gerais, having as locos empírico the peasant community of Barra do Pacuí. The approach was conducted to investigate how, by being included in the rural world, the peasant of this community can realize, feel, represent and act about the environment in w

22. Phase equilibrium and structural characterizarion of systems composed by polyanions and cationic surfactants / Equilibrio de fases e caracterização estrutural de sistemas contendo polianions e surfatantes cationicos

23. Caracterização e purificação da enzima bromelina em sistema de duas fases aquosas PEG/Fosfato / Bromelain enzyme caracterization and purification using two aqueous phases system PEG/Phosphate
The bromelains are proteases from vegetable origin, obtained from several species of Bromeliaceae family, which are found in pineapple s stem and fruit. The bromelains uses are based on its proteolytic activity on food industries and mostly at Brazilian pharmaceutical industry. The bromelains has been documented by its therapeutic effects at all inflammatory

24. Influence of apparent molecular size from aquatic humic substances in the coagulation efficiency with aluminium sulfate and ferric chloride / Influência do tamanho molecular aparente das substâncias húmicas aquáticas na eficiência da coagulação com sulfato de alumínio e cloreto férrico
Water sources used to supply the public water system frequently have a relatively high true color intensity due to dissolved aquatic humic substances (AHS). In this study, water samples were collected from the Itapanhaú River (Bertioga, SP, Brazil), which exhibited a true color intensity in the order of 300 Hanzen units. XAD-8 resin was used to extract AHS.
