1. Numerical simulations of SAR microwave imaging of the Brazil current surface front

2. On the design of nano-arm fractal antenna for UWB wireless applications
This paper presents the design of a nano-arm fractal antenna suitable for ultra wide band applications. The CPW-feed and fractal concept have been used to achieve the ultra wide bandwidth. The shape of the fractal geometry, the number of iterations and the number of nano-arms are the deciding factors for achieving wider impedance bandwidth. The experimental

3. Microstrip feed spanner shape monopole antennas for ultra wide band applications
An optimized design for the spanner shape regular hexagonal monopole (RHM) patch antennas has been reported to yield ultra wide band (UWB) impedance bandwidth. Impedance and radiation characteristics are presented and discussed. From the results, it has been observed that, the impedance bandwidth, defined by 10 dB return loss, can reach a value of 8.63GHz. A

4. On the design of UWB circular fractal antenna with notched-band characteristics using W-shape slot
This paper presents the design of notched-band antenna with CPW - feed. The notched - band has been achieved by using the W-shape slot in ground plane. The antenna has been simulated using a 3D - Electromagnetic simulator. The experimental results of proposed antenna exhibit ultra wideband characteristics from 2.0 - 15.0 GHz except the notched-band frequency

5. On the design of tree-type ultra wideband fractal Antenna for DS-CDMA system
This article describes the CPW-feed ultra wideband tree type monopole fractal antenna and it’s backscattering. The prototype antenna is fabricated with optimized dimension. The experimental result of this antenna exhibits the ultra wideband characteristics from 5.0 GHz to 14.0 GHz. The experimental and simulated results are in good agreement. The effects o

6. Horizontal and vertical positional accuracy assement of cartographic products of the amazon region derived from interferometric sar data in X and P bands from ORBISAR sensor / Avaliação da acurácia posicional planialtimétrica de produtos cartográficos da Região Amazônica extraídos de dados SAR interferométricos nas bandas X e P do sensor ORBISAR
The Geographic Service of the Brazilian Army (DSG) is running a major mapping project in Brazil, called ´´Radiography Amazon", the region known as ´´Empty Mapping the Amazon." This area, approximately 1,8 million km$^2$, has not had, to date, appropriate land information mapping at scales larger than 1:250,000, except insufficient cartographic documents

8. Multi-channel azimuth processing in SAR images with emphasis on channel balancing alternatives.
Due to the widespread acceptance of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imagery by the scientific community in recent years, SAR system design faces ever increasing demands for wide coverage of high resolution images. This represents a challenging task, since conventional monostatic SAR system are inherently subject to a compromise between the achievable resoluti

9. Processing, radiometric correction, autofocus and polarimetric classification of circular SAR data.
The demand for high resolution SAR systems and also for imaging techniques to retrieve scene information on the third dimension have stimulated the development of new acquisition modes and processing approaches. This work studies one of the newest SAR acquisition modes being used, namely the Circular SAR, in which the platform follows a non-linear circular t

12. Uso de imagens ALOS/PALSAR multipolarizadas para detecção de incremento de desflorestamento na Amazônia / Use of multipolarized ALOS/PALSAR image for detection of increment of deforestation in the Amazon
The Amazon forest is a region of rainforest, which has about 5,4 million square kilometers, and with great biodiversity of species on the planet. However, its traditional model of occupation has lead to significant levels of increase of deforestation in the brazilian Legal Amazon. Through remote sensing, these areas can be constantly monitored, offering rate
