1. [PROVISIONAL] Identification of histone methylation modifiers and their expression patterns during somatic embryogenesis in Hevea brasiliensis
Abstract Histone methylation plays a crucial role in various biological processes including from heterochromatin formation to transcriptional regulation. Currently, no information is available regarding histone methylation modifiers in the important rubber-producing plant Hevea brasiliensis. Here, we identified 47 histone methyltransferase (HMT) genes and 25

2. The overexpression of SOX2 affects the migration of human teratocarcinoma cell line NT2/D1

4. Estudo da ativação de áreas hipotalâmicas e do tronco encefálico após o exercício físico agudo em ratos. / Pontomeduallry and hypothalamic areas activated after exercise in rats.
5. Leptonic decays of the B charged meson and B → Xsγ in the Two Higgs Doublet Model type III
We consider the Two Higgs Doublet Model (2HDM) of type III which leads to Flavour Changing Neutral Currents (FCNC) at tree level. In the framework of this model we calculate the NLO contribution for b → sγ and the branchings for the meson decays B+ → l+ν. We examine the limits on the new parameters λbb and M H±. We take into account the relationship

6. Charged higgs production at photon colliders in 2HDM-III
We study charged Higgs production in the process γγ→ A0 → W-H+. The processes γγ → A0 are loop mediated in a 2HDM. This is due to the fact that photons only couple directly to charged particles and the Higgs only couples to particles with mass acquired via Higgs mechanism. Although in MSSM the contribution from the process γγ→ A0 is too small,

7. Light higgs boson production in two higgs doublets models type III
By using the Cheng, Sher and Yuan's anzats, we study the light Higgs Boson production associated with b quark production at TEVATRON using the 2HDM type III. We compare the simulations with experimental results coming from TEVATRON, finding valid ranges for the bb coupling. By using these results, we calculate the cross section for the process pp → bbh(bb)

8. The process mu -> nue e$\bar{\nu}$mu in the 2HDM with flavor changing neutral currents
We consider the process m -> nue e$\bar{\nu}$mu in the framework of a two Higgs doublet model with flavor changing neutral currents (FCNC). Since FCNC generates in turn flavor changing charged currents in the lepton sector, this process appears at tree level mediated by a charged Higgs boson exchange. From the experimental upper limit for this decay, we obta

9. HdmX stimulates Hdm2-mediated ubiquitination and degradation of p53
The RING finger proteins HdmX and Hdm2 share significant structural and functional similarity. Hdm2 is a member of the RING finger family of ubiquitin-protein ligases E3 and targets the tumor suppressor protein p53 for degradation. Although HdmX also binds to p53, HdmX does not induce p53 degradation. Moreover, HdmX has been reported to interfere with p53 de

10. Nucleocytoplasmic shuttling of oncoprotein Hdm2 is required for Hdm2-mediated degradation of p53
The Hdm2 oncoprotein inhibits p53 functions by two means: (i) it blocks p53’s transactivation activity and (ii) it targets p53 for degradation in a proteasome-dependent manner. Recent data indicate that Hdm2 shuttles between the nucleus and the cytoplasm and that the regulation of p53 levels by Hdm2 requires its nuclear export activity. Two different model

11. A small nuclear RNA, hdm365, is the major processing product of the human mdm2 gene
mdm2 encodes for an E3 ubiquitin ligase targeting constitutively expressed p53 for proteasomal degradation. Several protein isoforms have been described for human MDM2 (HDM2), some of which may correspond to splicing variants detectable by RT–PCR in many tumors. Upon cellular stress, p53 becomes resistant to MDM2 and, in a feedback loop, up-regulates mdm2

12. Differentiation of Hdm2-mediated p53 ubiquitination and Hdm2 autoubiquitination activity by small molecular weight inhibitors
The oncoprotein hdm2 ubiquitinates p53, resulting in the rapid degradation of p53 through the ubiquitin (Ub)–proteasome pathway. Hdm2-mediated destabilization and inactivation of p53 are thought to play a critical role in a number of human cancers. We have used an in vitro enzyme assay, monitoring hdm2-catalyzed Ub transfer from preconjugated Ub-Ubc4 to p5
