25. Effects of Lidocaine Oropharyngeal Spray Applied Before Endotracheal Intubation on QT Dispersion in Patients Undergoing Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting: A Prospective Randomized Controlled Study
Abstract Objective: To investigate the effects of lidocaine oropharyngeal spray applied before endotracheal intubation on hemodynamic responses and electrocardiographic parameters in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting. Methods: A total of 60 patients who underwent coronary artery bypass grafting surgery were included in this prospective ra

26. Evaluation of Carbon Nanotubes/Polyaniline Thin Films for Development of Electrochemical Sensors
Thin films of multiwalled carbon nanotubes/polyaniline nanocomposites (CNT/PAni) were synthesized through the liquid/liquid (L/L) interfacial route, deposited over glass substrates, and evaluated through cyclic voltammetry and amperometry as electrochemical sensor, using L-ascorbic acid as probe. Films with three different CNT/PAni ratios have been prepared.

27. Ground-Penetrating Radar Antenna Design for Homogeneous and Low-Loss Dielectric Multilayer Media
Abstract Non-destructive evaluation of multilayer media represents an electromagnetic inverse problem, usually solved with analysis techniques in the time and frequency domains. The time- domain analysis technique depends directly on the accurate detection of reflected peaks measured by ground-penetrating radar (GPR), which limits this technique when the ref

28. Exclusão pulmonar em neonatos - técnicas e o papel do ultrasom
ABSTRACT We analyzed the phenological responses of shrub-tree species of lowland deciduous (LDF) and submontane deciduous (SFD) forests in the Pantanal, and assessed their relationships with climatic factors at the community level and with strategies for seed dispersal. Vegetative and reproductive phenophases of 50 tree-shrub species were monitored monthly (

30. QT Interval Dispersion Behavior in Patients With and Without Obstructive Coronary Artery Disease Undergoing Exercise Test
Abstract Background: Stress test is used to detect coronary artery disease (CAD). The QTc interval dispersion (dQTc) is an electrocardiographic index of ventricular repolarization heterogeneity. Some researchers have linked transient myocardial ischemia induced by physical exertion with increased heterogeneity of ventricular repolarization measured by dQTc.

32. TD-DFT Analysis of the Dissymmetry Factor in Camphor
The fact that the dissymmetry lgeb (g-factor) of camphor is large has been known for decades, and the interpretation of the observed data has also been known for a long time. However, due to the ability of quantum chemical methods to describe chiroptical phenomena more appropriately, additional approaches based on these methods have been successful employed.

33. MULTILEVEL NONLINEAR MIXED-EFFECTS MODEL AND MACHINE LEARNING FOR PREDICTING THE VOLUME OF Eucalyptus SPP. TREES
ABSTRACT Volumetric equations is one of the main tools for quantifying forest stand production, and is the basis for sustainable management of forest plantations. This study aimed to assess the quality of the volumetric estimation of Eucalyptus spp. trees using a mixed-effects model, artificial neural network (ANN) and support-vector machine (SVM). The datab

35. Chemical control of leaf-cutting ants: how do workers disperse toxic bait fragments onto fungus garden?
ABSTRACT Leaf-cutting ants are controlled with toxic baits. For the method’s greater efficiency, the baits must be distributed and processed by workers during fungus cultivation. To test hypotheses whether the mode of action of the active ingredients, which blocks the sodium channels and interrupts the production of ATP in the mitochondria, interferes with

36. SIMULATION AND EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF POWER CONSUMPTION, GAS DISPERSION AND MASS TRANSFER COEFFICIENT IN A MULTI-PHASE STIRRED BIOREACTOR
Abstract Bio-oxidation leaching of refractory gold concentrate was carried out in a typical gas-liquid-solid three-phase stirred bioreactor. The bacteria, which adhered to solid particle surfaces and spread over the liquid phase, require sufficient oxygen and nutrient of carbon and nitrogen, and then the mass transfer rate should be considered. However, the
