1. Productive potential and castor bean selection of the FCA-PB cultivar progenies
ABSTRACT Castor bean is a very important crop, however, in Brazil it still has relatively low productivity, 0.47 Mg ha-1 as a mean. Besides that the Country has significant castor oil demand and depends on international commerce to complement its production. The solution of these problems goes through the development of genotypes highly productive and adapte

3. Number of carpels in the pollination efficiency of sour passion fruit

4. Entomofauna and potential pollinators of strawberry crop under semi-hydroponic conditions

5. Nesting and reproductive habits of the solitary bee Centris analis in trap nests under a tropical climate

6. Advances in propagation of Ficus carica L.

7. Vanilla bahiana Hoehne (Orchidaceae): studies on fruit development and new perspectives into crop improvement for the Vanilla planifolia group
As principais ca

8. Bee assemblage in habitats associated with Brassica napus L.
ABSTRACTAssessments in agricultural crops indicate that alterations in the landscape adjacent to the crops can result in reduced productivity due to loss or low abundance of pollinating agents. In the canola crop, production is partially dependent on insect pollination. Therefore, knowledge of the faunal diversity within and near crop fields is key for the m

9. Use of bee-attractants in increasing crop productivity in Niger (Guizotia abyssinica. L)
The use of bee attractants, Bee-Q and Fruit BoostTM in the pollination of niger was evaluated. Bee visitations to niger flowers were observed for two weeks and an estimation of seed yield was determined. Different concentrations of Bee-Q and Fruit boostTM were evaluated to understand honeybee visitation patterns on the target crop and pollination efficiency.

10. Diversidade em Psidium guajava L. por caracteres morfológicos, moleculares e citogenéticos / Diversity in Psidium guajava L. by morphological, molecular and cytogenetics
Guava (Psidium guajava L.) is one of the most economically important fruit crop from Myrtaceae family. Brazil is one of the largest producers of guava in the world, which is a potential crop in growth and profitability. Cross-pollination of the species and the existence of heterogeneous seminal propagation orchards result in variability, allowing the selecti

O objetivo deste trabalh

Merril.)adapted to Brazilian Northeastern climatic conditions
The research was carried out between July and December 2009 using tropical soya bean (Glycine max (L.) Merril) cultivars irrigated by center pivots in the irrigation district of Jaguaribe-Apodi, belonging to the agribusiness Faedo Sementes situated at the Apodi plateau, Limoeiro do Norte, CearÃ, Brazil.
