1. Skills to Perform Vessel Eversion in Mouse Cervical Cardiac Transplantation with Cuff Technique
Abstract Introduction: The mouse heterotopic cardiac transplant model has been extensively used to explore transplant immunity. Although the cuff technique facilitates the operation, the procedure remains difficult, and vessel eversion is the most difficult step. Cuff movement and everted vessel wall slippage are the main adverse factors in vessel eversion.

3. Anesthesia for renal transplantation in patients with dilated cardiomyopathy: a retrospective study of 31 cases

7. Recurrence Plots: a New Tool for Quantification of Cardiac Autonomic Nervous System Recovery after Transplant
Abstract Objective: To evaluate a possible evolutionary post-heart transplant return of autonomic function using quantitative and qualitative information from recurrence plots. Methods: Using electrocardiography, 102 RR tachograms of 45 patients (64.4% male) who underwent heart transplantation and that were available in the database were analyzed at differ

8. Associated Clinical and Laboratory Markers of Donor on Allograft Function After Heart Transplant
Abstract Introduction: Primary graft dysfunction is a major cause of mortality after heart transplantation. Objective: To evaluate correlations between donor-related clinical/biochemical markers and the occurrence of primary graft dysfunction/clinical outcomes of recipients within 30 days of transplant. Methods: The prospective study involved 43 donor/rec

9. Issues in solid-organ transplantation in children: translational research from bench to bedside
In this review, we identify important challenges facing physicians responsible for renal and cardiac transplantation in children based on a review of the contemporary medical literature. Regarding pediatric renal transplantation, we discuss the challenge of antibody-mediated rejection, focusing on both acute and chronic antibody-mediated rejection. We review

10. Transplante cardíaco: co-morbidades e complicações apresentadas por pacientes em um hospital universitário de Belo Horizonte
Cardiovascular diseases are a major cause of death in many developing countries including Brazil. The heart failure is a cardiovascular disease considered severe and irreversible. Nowadays, with advance in technology and medicine the last alternative of treatment to heart failure is the cardiac transplantation. To assist the patients submitted to the procedu

11. Transplante cardíaco: sistema tensional inconsciente dominante e diagnóstico adaptativo operacionalizado de mulheres candidatas ao enxerto / Cardiac transplantation: dominant unconscious tensional system and adaptive operationalized diagnosis of women applying to graft.
The cardiac transplantation represents the last alternative of treatment and an unique possibility of surviving for the patient with terminal cardiac insufficiency (CI). It is indicated when all other procedures were considerate or excluded for the treatment of serious cardiomyopathy. Currently, the results archieved with the graft surgery indicate the possi

12. Autorreatividade humoral a peptídeos da miosina cardíaca e proteína de choque térmico 60: estudo sequencial em pacientes transplantados cardíacos e indivíduos sadios / Humoral autoreactivity to peptides from cardiac myosin and heat shock protein 60: sequential study in heart transplanted patients and healthy subjects
The immune response directed to self antigens can contribute to the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases. However, autoimmunity may also have an immunoregulatory role in allograft rejection and in other inflammatory processes. We analyzed IgG and IgM autoantibodies reactive to peptides from the human cardiac myosin (CM) and the heat shock protein 60 (Hsp60) i
