RESUMO

This studys purpose is to rethink the work in mental health which was initiated in Psychiatric Reform movement, based in Winnicotts theory. The dialogue is between the psychiatry, important authors of the Psychiatric Reform movement and the traditional psychoanalysis, showing the innovations that take place in Winnicotts ideas. Thus is presented the general aspects of the individual maturation theory and the psychosis theory derived from the first. Such innovations need to present the mental health assistance in other basis. Thus psychosis clinic introduces a clinic based on management which provides an improvement of the setting. Both, the management and the amplified use of the setting, are key concepts for the redefinition of the job in institutions that work with psychosis
