RESUMO
The Boca cinema of São Paulo was always distinguished as an independent production center. Its history takes impulse since the 60?s to the end of the 80?s. Two kinds of films mark this production: an experimental one and another one, more commercial. Through two criticism?s experiences, we can understand these productions: the texts of Jairo Ferreira in São Paulo Shimbum ? between 1966 and 1973 ? and the review Cinema em Close Up ? between 1975 and 1977.
