RESUMO

The present thesis aims to discuss the concepts of Social Justice and Distributive Justice as ideas that justify the establishment and the accomplishment of the social rights. From the analysis of the concepts evolution, since Aristotle and Thomas Aquinass theories of justice until the Catholic Social Teaching, in the beginning of the twentieth century, this paper intents to discuss the Social Justice and Distributive Justices structure, from the point of view of contemporary democratic societies. Details of the juridical relationships created among individuals, society and State will be also studied, as well as these concepts object, identified as a minimum level of material and immaterial goods, according to the principle of dignity of human person
