RESUMO

The aim of this work is to analyze the sexual violence that occurs in the private scope of the family, the one perpetrated by the parents and/or stepfathers against the child and the adolescent. The procedure of this study started with a historical rescue of the origin of the family, the patriarchal family and the burgess nuclear family. Later it approaches the violence as expression of power, it detaches the incest and the incestuous abuse. The work consists of a research carried out in the Police Station of Combat of the Exploitation against the Child and the Adolescent (DCECA), together with the victims families. The methodology had the qualitative approach as a priority and was enriched with information from questionnaires, interviews and statistical surveys of crimes practiced against children and adolescents, recorded in the DCECA, in 2001. The data analysis was carried out through the Content Analysis Technique, where the following analytical categories were studied: the culture of the domination; the structure and family dynamics; the approach of the aggressor; the silence and the social isolation; the revelation and its implications: the contradictions of feelings; making public of the incestuous abuse; the banality of the crime; the repetition of the act and the idealization of the family. We concluded that the sexual violence against children and adolescents occurs, mainly, within the home, having the father figure and/or stepfather as the main aggressor. In relation to the legal and moral trespass of this act, it was verified that the victimized families looked forward to reconstructing âthe ancient family relationshipâ, what is called, nowadays, a modern conjugal family pattern
