RESUMO

This research project proposes a dialogue about the videoclip as an audiovisual media and with its relationship with the art and the communication medias, as well as its applicability and its significations when absorbed in a creative structure. This research is turned up to the videoclip creation processes as for its historical features, structural and cultural, containing a wide panorama of what is a mediated videoclip and what is not a mediated videoclip. Its creative possibilities are developed into a process that doesnt involve only television and cinema researches. Other artistic structures are also analyzed and they are able to dialogue with the clip, providing a broader view of its production and exhibition mechanisms, as the digital medias, for instance. For being a media that is good with summarizing sounds, images, among other languages, the clip sets out an unlimited inter-textuality, passing through many different types of texts and can be considered, today, as one of the most creative and inventive audiovisuals format that can be shown at the medias and at the arts as well. In this way, it is possible to explore its multiple artistically, mediated, informational potential, in one goal that is able to join together creativity, sensibility, practical and theoretical knowledge with a considerable level of intellectual repertory. This research is able to develop a study about the position of the videoclip as an object, before the traditional medias, its interpretation forms, of how it turns out to be and confirms itself as an art and how does it take over all the different types of language, so that its structure can be able to present its own peculiarities when compared to the tv or cinema structures. Therefore, the individual ability of fulfillment regarded videoclip can be trained in a creative way, through visuals and sonorous compositions exercises, having on principle the inter-conexion that this media is able to establish with the idea of expansion of the artistic text and its several cognitive levels. The focus of the following research is extended to conceptual aspects that implicates in the basis authors references all along the process. Among them, the following: Roman Jackobson and his essays about cinema and linguistics; and Iuri Lotman that deals with cultures typology and suggests the study of cultural phenomenal based on semiotics and semiologys concepts, with the investigations tasks the system of culture and information as a foundation for any communication and creative act.
