RESUMO

Took place the rising of the arboreal compartment of seven fragments of arboreal Caatinga placed in the districts of JuvenÃlia (14Â28 S and 44Â11 W, altitude of 460 m) and MontalvÃnia (14Â17 S and 44Â27 W, altitude 490 m), Minas Gerais, with the objective of characterizing the composition floristic and the arboreal community s structure. The area of the fragments varied from 4 to 80ha and the same ones present evident signs of located impacts, as selective exploration of wood besides trails provoked by the constant penetration of domestic animals, in your largest part bovid. 77 plots of 20 x 20 m were allocated, number this proportional one to the size of the fragment, where if sampled all the individuals with circumference et breast height (CBH)≥ 10 cm in total of 3.869 individuals belonging to 81 species, 70 genera and 27 families.The community s distributions diametric and of the four species that happened in all the fragments they presented two different patterns, apparently related to the historical effects of each fragment. The autovalois of the analysis of corrected correspondence (CCA) for the first two ordination axes they were of 0,286 (axis 1) and 0,190 (axis 2). Those low values indicate short gradients, where most of the species is distributed among the two ends, with some of them just varying basal area. The distribution of species related to the environmental variables can only be seen in a way more generalist after a lot of repetitions of the same pattern in different areas.
