Valores, práticas e criatividade organizacionais: estudo do perfil cultural de uma instituição bancária

RESUMO

The main purpose of this study was to investigate values and organizational practices influences on stimuli and barriers to creativity on work environment and to identify Banco do Brazils cultural profile. Two thousand hundred and seventy and one employees took part on the present study. The research instrument was consisted of three scales: Organizational Values Profile Inventory, Work Context Assessment Scale and a brief version of Climate Indicators to Creativity. The proposed research model that articulated values and practices as antecedents of the organizational creativity was entirely confirmed. Results showed that the autonomy and socioprofessional relationships were the most expressive predictors of support and resistance to new ideas at the work context. The following values: prestige, authority, accordance and realization, with work organizational practices were the most central and shared elements of the organizational culture. This study also identified an organizational sub-culture, when the rule analysis was the employees work time.
