RESUMO
The revascularization syndrome is an inflammatory process which can lead to tissual destruction and can be bigger than ischemia itself. An experimental study was held, with the purpose of attenuate the undesired effects of this syndrome, using M&G solution. For the execution of this experiment were used :fifty(50) Wistar rats divided into three (3) groups: control, ischemic without M&G solution, ischemic with perfusion of M&G solution. On the control group blood sampling were made for the measurement of arterial gases and lactate. On the ischemic group without perfusion, the left iliac artery and the aorta were clamped for forty (40) minutes and intra-arterial blood tests were made to check up blood gases and lactat. On the third group the saroe procedure of the group described before was made, however the right iliac artery was catheterised and it was infundedM&G solution. Afier blood sampling the specimens were sacrified and hindlimb muscles biopsy was made. The electronic microscope ana1ysisshowed a better protection of the endotelial cells on the removed muscle on the side that M&G solution was infunded. The comparison between the ischemic groups revealed tOOtM&G solution would preserve the measurement of the arterial gases nearer normal leveI
