RESUMO

This study is considered to analyze it the use of the verbal markers that represent some not-verbal aspects of the conversation in rooms of chat in the Internet and of that it forms such aspects contribute for the interaction in the dialogue carried through in this context, predominantly verbal. It is an inquiry on the communication processes human being in the context of the new technologies, specifically in rooms chats, considering the psychological and partner-cultural aspects. We support ourselves in the etnometodolÃgicas perspectives of the Conversation Analysis and in the Griceâs Cooperative Principle, based on a interacional analysis of the persons that dialogue from co-constructed statements, considering the gestuais aspects and the context. A virtual ethnography in chat rooms was become fullfilled, observing the use of the verbal markers that represent some not-verbal aspects of the conversation (emoticons and lexical expressions of sounds, abbreviations and tunes) and the effect of this practical in the constructed dialogue. Applying the Griceâs Cooperative Principle to these verbal marks, one verified which of them had presented greater trespass to the Cooperative Principle, producing implicatures. The new results had still indicated the emergency of emoticons created by the proper users, as well as the process of co-regulation and engagement of the participants in these rooms of chat, seemed to a conversation face-to-face, although the thresholds encountered before the complexity of the study, suggesting themselves future research for some presented questions
