Um modelo de indice de automação relacionado a flexibilidade e a produtividade dos sistemas de manufatura

RESUMO

This work deals with some features of the manufacturing systems. The main features described are goals, strategies, tatics and batch operation way ; elementary and complete systems ; batch kind and size : continuous and discontinous flow. The manufacturing state of art and the evolution of manufacturing systems are showed and the conventional system, numeric control, Group Technology , Just in time and Kaban, MRP, CAD, CAM, Robotic , FMS and CIM are described. The productivity and flexibility of the manufacturing systems are defined together with the index for their measurement. Automation are considered under three aspects: hard automation, flexible automation and level automation. An automation index (ia) and the relationship among flexibility (fc) and productivity (P) and the automation index (ia) are suggested. The automation index and its relationship with the productivity and flexibility indexes are analysed under actual conditions using data from a manufacturer of gear box
