RESUMO
Bloom , Sean Walsh s filmic adaptation of James Joyce s Ulysses , brings to screen Leopold Bloom s, Stephen Dedalus , and Molly Bloom s representation of thought. Relying on Robert Humphrey s theory of stream of consciousness in literature and Haim Callev s theory of stream of consciousness on screen, the present research aims at analyzing the tools used by the filmmaker to make feasible such representations. Moreover, Gérard Gennete s contemporaneous theory of transtextuality is used to identify and bring to light the differences and intersections between the mentioned novel and film
