RESUMO

Family and school are unsettled before teenagers of middle and upper classes that, free from any compromise related to cognition, present specific difficulties related to the acquisition of knowledge. Such difficulties, quite frequently, take place, specially, or even primarily, at school: indifference to knowledge, lack of sense regarding school content, and difficulty in maintaining the attention in the classroom, are common complains among these teenagers to whom "study is very boring". From a psychoanalytic reading about these complaints, derived from the Psychopedagogy clinic, related to the teenager disinvestment towards knowledge, we bring a possible way to think this contemporary indisposition towards education: the way of desire and subjectivity. Therefore, supported by psychoanalytic reference, we reflected over the possible interlacement among disinvestment in knowledge, the desire of knowledge and the teenager constitution of subjectivity in contemporary times. The work is divided in three chapters. The first chapter (Education, Teenhood and Contemporarity) contextualizes the problem through the discussion of concepts such as culture, family, school, and teen-hood in History and in present days; the second chapter (Desire of Knowledge and Teenhood) takes hold of the psychoanalytic concept of desire of knowledge as fundamental to the analysis of the approached problem and, considering the teen years to a be moment of subjective constitution, it analyses the specificity of the desire of knowledge in teenhood; and, finally, the third chapter (Regarding the Possibility of Connection among Psychopedagogy and Psychoanalysis) discuss the possible contributions from psychoanalytic clinic to Psychopedagogy clinic, illustrating, through fragments of cases from the Psychopedagogy clinic, possible relations among the teen disinvestment of knowledge, the desire of knowledge and the teenager constitution subjectivity in present days.
