RESUMO

This work is the elaboration of a questioning on the meanings that the illness and the death can have in the life of someone. For considering the disease and the death as outstanding and unique experiences for the human being, we elaborated an inquiry on the meaning of these events along the narrative of a life. For that, we used some authors ideas in psychoanalysis, like Donnald Winnicott, George Groddeck and Joyce McDougall
