RESUMO

This dissertation insert in line of research Cultural Diversity and Indian Education of Masters Degree Program Education Catholic University Dom Bosco/UCDB. This research had have objective how was built the sense of the school for Indian students of second grade in Francisco Horta Barbosa Reserve Dourados/MS Brazil, be contemplating the senses stablished by them. The forwarding research passed by two specifical moments, by the way, complementals: in the first moment was realized a bibliographic study, based in Education area of knowledge, Antropology and History, about school education and indian school education, with orientation focal point the culture. In the second moment was realized a documental study of State School Intercultural Guateka Marçal de Souza, located on The Jaguapiru Hamlet and information collected with students on second grade. The information was collected through questionary, interviews, observations and histories, to looking for to contemplate the objective this study. The research evidences that construction of school sense for the students is associated to historical context and social, politics and economicals transformation in grasp of the life experience on frontier spaces. It can says that the sense of the school for the indian students on second grade likes to answer a standard challenge, where all of them see in the school the space of formation to contribute with social and economical development of community, seeking to capitalize durable goods and to have social ascension. The construction of school sense is a continuous process, ever in elaboration, had been produced historically and day by day for students, resulted of incertitude and contradictions about Who Am I? and What I want to be?.
