RESUMO

This dissertation is the result of a bibliographical research, carried through with the objective to analyze and to reflect on the technology of computer science, emphasizing its job in the education. Our work also longs for to argue concerning the construction of the knowledge in the society of the information, being looked for to clarify that society is this. Starting for a reflection on the modern rationality, for finding in this the initial base of the technological rationality that we have today, we pass for one analyzes of the technology concept, presenting diverse current points of view. In as the chapter we develop the subject of the construction of the knowledge in the society of the information, showing the origin of this society and the challenges and possibilities of knowledge construction, as well as we look for to present some concepts of knowledge. In the third chapter we work the use of computer science in the education, emphasizing the challenges and the new function of the teacher in this tecnologizada society.
