RESUMO

In the Cedro basin, during the Alagoas Stage, the deposition of sediments occurs during the Pos-rift stage, correspondent to the Crato Formation. The sampling carries through in these sediments allowed to the identification of five genus and 18 lÃmnicos species of ostracodas: Harbinia angulata (KrÃmmelbein &Weber, 1971), Harbinia micropapillosa (Bate, 1972), Harbinia crepata Do Carmo, 1998 nom. nud., Harbinia sinuata (KrÃmmelbein &Weber, 1971), Harbinia cf. H. alta Do Carmo, 1998 nom. nud., Harbinia cf. H. triangulata Gobbo-Rodrigues, 2006, Darwinula martinsi Silva, 1978c emend. Do Carmo et al., 2004a, Brasacypris cf. B. subovatum Do Carmo, 1998 nom. nud., Candona subtriangulata Gobbo-Rodrigues, 2006 nom. nud., Candona elegans Gobbo-Rodrigues 2006 nom. nud. Candona sp. 1, Candona sp. 2, Candona sp. 3, Candona sp. 4, ?Candona sp., Paracypria sp., Harbinia sp. 1 and Harbinia sp. 2. The bioestratigraphical analysis from lÃmnicos ostracodas, identified the biozone of the Harbinia spp. 201/218, O11 code, referring to the Alagoas Stage. The ostracofauna that characterizes the Biozone O11 in the Cedro basin is marked by a considerable number of species, with occurrences autoctones and aloctones. Candona sp. 4 as well as Harbinia sp. 2, Harbinia angulata and Harbinia sinuata are considered species guides found in the sediments of the inferior portion of the Crato Formation, while Brasacypris subovatum and Darwinula martinsi compose the association of this biozone. Through the analysis of the histograms it was possible to identify eight representative species autoctones indicatives of energy variation in the environment: Harbinia angulata, Harbinia sp. 2, Candona elegans and Candona sp. 4, sample MP-916; ? Candona sp. e Paracypria sp., sample MP-917; Darwiluna cf. D. martinsi and Harbinia sp. 2, sample MP-918. The species autoctones indicate conditions of non marine environment and brackishwater. Form of this study was possible to correlate the Aptiano sediments in the Cedro basin with that found in the Crato Formation, basin Araripe
