RESUMO
We privilege as a subject of study the Section of Sanitary Advertising and Education of the Secretary of Health and Education of São Paulo, which emerged in the thirties and ended its activities in 1969. Through its textual production, imagery and verbal written, in its different forms of expression, it is aimed to catch in flagrant the different interfaces of the matters healthlsickness and life/death within the medical-sanitary perspective and the sanitary education. The SPES, through its strategies of seductionlsedition, dirnensioned the meanrng of the of the construction representations, living sharings and experiences of the sick being, defining lands of the living and the dying, pointing to the matters of the sociability. It presented itself as a model institution in the medicationarea, the docilization, biologying and controVplanning of São Paulo s society, during its existence. It had its performance pointed by the scientificisrn, opposed to the forms of resistance to the impositions and manipulations of the bodies and of the subjectivity, being this one its interface which attributed its historical stage to be registered
