RESUMO

In this work, we argue aspects that involve the insertion of the aged one in the technology through the learning of the inherent mechanisms to the same one. The research aims at to demystify conceptions that define, of maken a mistake form, the aged one as somebody incapable thing to absorb new knowledge. For such, we confront such conception, with the results gotten in the practical one of the education of computer science of the Open University of the Third Age; results these that promote a new to look at for the capacity of learning in the third age. The results of the field research also certify this new to look at, a time that effect a practical clipping that it goes beyond the expectation of proper the aged ones. To the end of our work, it is the certainty of that the oldness is not a period of sadness and bitterness, but of great expectations and accomplishments
