RESUMO

Quality is an imperative in business world nowadays. Software quality is vital as information technology is being used by the organizations as a competitive advantage. This paper shows improvement approach on software development based on continuous software process improvement approach. It takes Total Quality Management topics in consideration, as statistical process control, that leads to better results on predictability and process capability improvement. It shows that is needed to tie-in these initiatives to real problem solving, helping to create a culture and environment propitious to continuous change and improvement helping sustain and retain the obtained results
